Introduction

Picolisp is yet another dialect of the Lisp language, specially written to be radically practical and simple. Picolisp was not born because of a standarization, nor because the researching of some university, nor because somebody thought of some new theory of computation. Picolisp was born because Alexander Burger, the main author of Picolisp needed a language to implement software, and needed something simple, fast, and easy to manipulate.

Alex is a consultant. He is writing software using Picolisp from 1988 until now.
